I took myself to the supermarket on Thursday night to ensure that we could do our Easter Bunny duties and lets just say I got a little carried away in the excitment.
Honestly when I brought home all those eggs I really wondered if it was enough. When I showed my DD he looked at me and said "Are you insane"....."really?" I said, theres not much there....
I had my blinkers on. Ollie is going to be eating chocolate for weeks, and we will be suffering, because as it turns out, chocolate and Ollie are like bicarb soda mixed with vinegar...an explosion that you just can't stop.
It was all worth it though just to see his face this morning when he discovered that the Easter Bunny had been. (Note to self to exploit Easter Bunny more next year) and all the oos and ahhs and laughs and giggles when he found eggs hidden all over the house.
Guess mummy and daddy may just have to help out with his stash, and hope he doesn't catch us out!!!

It is funny to spoil them though, isn't it? Sounds like it was all worth it. It's hard not to go overboard!!
I used to get loads and loads of Easter eggs. Used to leave 'em half eaten about the place. Yes, tuck in while you can xxx
I had fun giving my son a few extra things in the basket, I don't spoil any other day, so it works out LOL
I think chocolate is a lethal connection for my son too, your not alone, if we lived closer i would take yours and mine to the park so you could do things and then you could do it for me LOL
We usually do tons of candy but not this year...hubby and I eat too much of it and we don't need it. We did a cute new thing this year...they put jelly beans in a vase and poured water them and when they woke up the vase was filled with big lollipops...like the jelly beans grew (you are supposed to plant them outside but it was too cold)
